Genfanset

Torn asunder by centuries of conflict, Genfanset is a world in turmoil. A millennium has passed since the end of the Dragon Wars, yet the people of Genfanset know no peace. Kingdoms rise from the ashes of empires while powerful magic is woven in dark rooms behind secret doors. Racial, political, and religious tensions continue to plague an otherwise beautiful world with hatred, bloodshed, and dark magic.   Gone are the days of the Dragon Emperors, yet many remember the legacy they left behind. Ruins, spells, and powerful artifacts remain throughout the world, calling to adventurers far and wide to come and seek them out. Unearthing ancient secrets can be lucrative, but also dangerous. More than one war has broken out over such discoveries.   Originally conceived as a setting for table-top adventures played in college dorm rooms and short stories written in messy notebooks, Genfanset quickly grew. Starting with single characters and simple concepts, the world quickly grew to establish years of history, conflict, magic, and discovery.
