The Heartlands

oh......... you know ;)

Phase 2

The Heartlands have been flourishing. Newly domesticated foxes protect both the grain stores and their bonded humans, and hunting has never been easier. This abundance has allowed for rapid expansion into new territory and, in turn, the absorption of a number of smaller tribes. Spearheading this effort is a young man named Eneda – just twenty years old - who was once part of one of those smaller tribes. His life has been difficult – he is the middle child of eight and lost his parents when he was just old enough to remember them. Though he and his siblings were adopted by the rest of the tribe, he was a sickly child and often left to his own devices.   He will tell you that he had not truly felt love or passion until he was bathed in the light of the Radiance; that it was his destiny to go out and show others the love She has shown him.   And so he travels with his rag-tag band of devout followers, speaking with other tribes and building temples.

Phase 3

The work of the first cleric echoes into today – Eneda's efforts have led to a (comparatively) more unified doctrine and an absolute devotion to the Radiance. She is woven into every aspect of daily life, as a love that fails to include Radiant love is an incomplete love; and as love continues to grow in a world that lacks it, it is the duty of all who are good to create more love. Around the altars and within their radius is an urban sprawl of sorts – it's difficult to tell where one village ends and the other begins.   Missionary work and the creation of altars is of paramount importance; as word has spread of their , they have begun to "free" settlements containing those who wish to convert but are disallowed to by their leaders.   Contact established with the Winter Court.   (insert Winter Court squabbling here)
