Land of Tar

The southernmost tip of the northern ocean and subsequently the bearer of a fair amount of odd weather. Its summers are hot and dry, punctuated by the occasional thunderstorm which, in turn, can produce towering dust storms. Spring and autumn bring plenty of rain, and winter brings moderate snowstorms. Occasional temperature inversions can cause heavy fog that can last for days. Massive asphalt lakes can also be found here.
