Garden of Hell

Lucifer may have lost the battle for the Eternal's thrown but that was never his true goal. He had planned, scemed, and weighed all the risks before putting his plan into action. So when they lost the battle as planned and were banished to Hell Lucifer and his followers actually got what they had wanted all along.   It was his pity for man and his love for them that first inspired Lucifer to action. He could not see them locked in a cage, even one as beautiful has eden. Nor be controlled, bound, or limited by god has his people were. So he went to Eve knowing she could not resist him and convinced her to deify god by eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Lucifer knew what that evil was and it is what he wanted for himself and for the small frail humans.   Once they were free from the garden he decided to deify god himself. Not to take the thrown as most believe but to be exiled from heaven and gain the same freedom he helped the humans to achieve, the freedom of free will. Though he did succeed in gaining his freedom from heaven he was not exiled to earth has he had planned.   Instead they found themselves imprisoned in the same place they had so recently freed the humans from. Not a place a fire and brimstone but one of paradise unlike anything on earth. So it seemed that god knew Lucifer's true goal all along.
