Personal history
Queen Matilda was created 16 years before the past ruler of the peace kingdom died. She was a great shock to the nation as they hadn't had a Queen before. Naturally she experienced some sexism from the past ruler, refusing to accept his successor was a women. In her younger days before she was crowned she would goof off with a young Kenji getting into all sorts of mischief. Matilda was crowned when she was sixteen and quickly earned her kingdoms respect by being a clever ruler.
Queen Matilda was one of the first people to help teach Li Na and Wu Li Garda's customs. During the war, Daria destroyed the peoples crystals, killing a massive amount of her kingdoms population. This enraged Mathilda and set out her revenge for the rest of the war. Matilda used the rest of her magic to take avenge her kingdom and protect the rest of her friends.

Matilda tends to want to be in charge, she likes structure and she wants to keep it that way which can lead to some arguments with Queen Zora. She doesn't work well in high stressed situations as she can't be in control and that can get her to feel very frustrated but her friends are often there to try and calm her down.
