As a god-king watched his capital burn, he swore to the heavens that he would avenge his burning country.
It has been one hundred years since the foriegn despoilers stepped foot on Nacenian soil. A once glistening capital was sacked by the invaders, the ten-nation alliance leaving a path of destruction and death in their wake.
The world watches with terror as the vengeful state ramps up nuclear weapon production. Sanctions splash against the rogue state with no effect.
Any attempts to stop the cascade towards war are halted by immediate deployment of military forces against the protesters. Thousands of people have died at the hands of the military, and no end is in sight.
Ardenia watches with concern as Nacen descends into insanity, preparing military assets for an upcoming intervention.
One thing is certain:
Nacen will get her revenge, one way or the other.
