far in the distant future mankind has taken to the stars and met alien life, discovering the drift an unstable sub light mode of transportation. After encountering alien civilization the galactic Core was created. shortly after the beacons were discovered, these arcane constructs from a lost civilization that created stable signals in the drift these were distributed among the capital cities of the core worlds. as trade and commerce flowed through the core worlds corporations and individuals began expanding outwards to unknown reaches of space from the mostly corporate ran worlds of the mid rim to the lawless pirate sections of the outer rim.
