Third Necros War

The last war of the Necros Empire was a long and brutal conflict that lasted from 4971 to 5134. It was a war that changed the course of history on the eastern continent and had far-reaching consequences for all of the races involved.   At the start of the war, the necros, driven by their lust for power and their desire to control the eastern continent, launched a surprise attack on the Empire and its allies. The necros, using their powerful magic and ancient artifacts, were able to quickly gain ground and annex large parts of the Werebeast, Empire, Hellfire Troll, and Hobgoblin territories.   The elves, who had remained neutral in the conflict until this point, were forced to take action when the necros marched on their territories. It was at this moment that the elves unleashed their ancient and powerful magic, activating long-dormant teleportation devices all over the world. This sudden shift in the tide of the war allowed the empire and its allies to move their armies more quickly and strike at the necros from unexpected directions.   Recognizing the threat posed by the necros, the orcs of the far western continent banded together with the ogre tribes of the west and launched a surprise invasion of the necros' home continent. This unexpected attack significantly weakened the necros and, for the first time, the Western Sea Trolls to the north of the necros territory took up arms and began attacking any necros ships they could find, cutting off the necros' reinforcements from the eastern continent.   The war also saw the rise of the Valhaller Dwarf King Thorgrimm Ironfist, who led his armies to victory in many key battles and earned the respect and admiration of the other races. The Werebeast hero Greymaw the Mighty also distinguished himself on the battlefield, leading the charge against the Necros at the 2nd Battle of the Crystal Cliffs and securing a decisive victory for the Empire and its allies.   General Marcus, also known as the "Trap Master", was a skilled strategist and leader of the human forces from the Federation of Cliffgate during the third war against the Necros Empire. He is known for his clever use of traps and ambushes, which helped turn the tide of the war in favor of the allied forces. One of his most famous feats was at the Battle of Goldwark Lake, where he successfully lured a large Necros army into a carefully prepared trap, using decoys and fake retreats to draw them into a narrow valley. Once the Necros were trapped, Marcus sprung his trap, using hidden archers and artillery to decimate their ranks and rout them completely.   His tactics and bravery earned him the respect of his fellow soldiers and the admiration of his enemies, who came to fear his cunning and strategic mind. Despite the many challenges and dangers of the war, General Marcus remained a steadfast and determined leader, dedicated to defeating the Necros and securing victory for his people and his allies.   Another hero of this war was a young Elemental Mage girl from the streets of the Empires Capital. She had no family and was only 14 years old when she fought in the war, but she quickly proved to be a formidable mage. After the war, she founded the city of Jacestock Harbor at the Sun Sea, where she ruled for many years as a wise and just leader.   The twins, Veldr and Valtor, were celebrated heroes of the war, known for their bravery and cunning. As members of the Canidae clan, they were born and raised in the city of Outlet, where they were trained in the ways of combat and magic. When the war broke out, they were among the first to answer the call to defend their home. In the early days of the war, the necros had managed to preserve the city of Goldwark Lake with their powerful magic, and the defenders were vastly outnumbered and outmatched. But the twins, with their speed and agility, proved to be a formidable force on the battlefield. They quickly gained a reputation for their bold and daring tactics, and their bravery in the face of overwhelming odds.   One of the twins, Valtor, was a chaosmage, able to harness the power of magic and unleash devastating spells on the enemy. His twin, Veldr, was a cleric, able to heal the wounded and bolster the spirits of their comrades. Together, they were an unstoppable team, and their exploits on the battlefield soon became legend.   But it was their daring raid on the necros' stronghold that cemented their place in history. With a small group of warriors, they sneaked past the necros' defenses and infiltrated their stronghold, where they managed to steal one of the necros' ancient artifacts, a powerful weapon that could turn the tide of the war.   With the artifact in their possession, the twins used it to unleash a devastating attack on the necros, driving them back and securing victory for the Empire. However, the mission came at a great cost. Both twins were gravely wounded in the process, and one of them ultimately lost their life.   Despite this, their sacrifice was not in vain. The stolen artifact proved to be a crucial turning point in the war, allowing the Empire and its allies to push back against the necros and ultimately emerge victorious. The memory of Veldr and Valtor lives on, and their deeds are still celebrated by the people of the Empire as a symbol of courage and hope in the face of great adversity.     Thanks to the combined efforts of the empire, its allies, and the unexpected support of the orcs and trolls, the necros were finally defeated after a grueling 13-year war. It was a decisive victory for the empire and its allies, and it cemented their position as the dominant power on the eastern continent.
