Sun Sea

The Sun Sea is a massive lake located in the western region of the Thunderstorm Empire. It is situated to the north of the country of the Mountain Elves and the Hobgoblins, and is surrounded by the Berleigh Mountains and the Berleigh Volcano in the west.   The Sun Sea is a critical part of the Thunderstorm Empire's transportation and trade network, thanks to its many rivers that connect the lake to the rest of the continent. The river that flows from the Sun Sea to Goldwark Lake in the northwest provides a vital link between the western and eastern regions of the Thunderstorm Empire, and the river that flows from the Sun Sea to the southwest connects the Empire to the rest of the continent.   The Sun Sea is a popular destination for travelers and tourists, thanks to its beautiful setting and abundant wildlife. The lake is home to a wide variety of fish and other aquatic creatures, and its shores are lined with forests and wetlands that provide habitat for a wide range of plant and animal species.   One of the most notable features of the Sun Sea is its human harbor town on its northwestern shore. This bustling community is home to a number of shops, restaurants, and other businesses, and is a popular destination for those looking to enjoy the beauty of the lake. The Sun Sea is also home to two Hobgoblin cities: Dodrid, the capital, and Rirovallum, which are located on the southern shores of the lake.   In addition to its human and Hobgoblin inhabitants, the Sun Sea is also home to a number of Mountain Elves. The Elves have a town on the southeastern shores of the lake called Irennora, which is known for its beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere.   Despite its beauty and abundance of wildlife, the Sun Sea is not without its dangers. In the northeast, the lake is bordered by the Jungle of Agony, a dense and unforgiving wilderness that is home to a number of dangerous creatures. In the northwest, the Tal'tipras Swamp is a treacherous and unforgiving place that is avoided by all but the most foolhardy travelers.   Despite these dangers, the Sun Sea remains a popular destination for those looking to explore the beauty and diversity of the Thunderstorm Empire. Whether you're interested in fishing, boating, or simply enjoying the scenic beauty of the lake, the Sun Sea has something for everyone.   The lake's many rivers also make it an important hub of trade and commerce, with boats and barges carrying goods to and from the Sun Sea on a daily basis. The human harbor town on the northwestern shore is a particularly important part of the lake's trade network, and is a bustling center of activity.
