The Black Spot
A brutal and borish band of brigands, The Black Spot pirates sailed the northern seas of Chul. The Black Spot stole anything and everything they could sell or spend, and everything else lay at the bottom of the sea in their wake, for 50 years and more travel by sea either to or from Chul is an incredible risk. The original crew is now unknown but the current Admiral of The Black Spot is a thin and waifish changeling known only as The faceless old woman.
Structure
The Admiral is the leader of the fleet.
The Captain is the leader of each ship in the fleet.
The First mate is the right hand of each Captain
Culture
The Black Spot is a Pirate fleet with its own port in Chul. They rob and kill on the seas in northern Chul with little care for any who get caught in their path. They fight, drink and covet wealth in all its forms. They relish in beautiful works of art and believe in their freedom most of all.
Public Agenda
The end goal of The Black Spot is to own the seas with their mighty and violent fleet.
Assets
The Black Spot has many treasures, Most notably the fleet itself, 286 ships strong, and outfitted for war. They rule the northern part of Chul and have the wealth of a small nation.
History
The Black Spot crew was a small band of pirates, no more than 8-12 strong, and they captained and crewed the vessel known as the Black Rose, over time the crew began to grow until eventually it became a small fleet of 30 ships, the Black Rose was sunk while in harbor which led to the events of the bloody battle of Northern Chul the people of the town were slaughtered and driven out and the land was claimed in the name of the old pirate king Krathis. A new ship was built to be the flagship of the ever growing fleet. Christened with the blood of those who destroyed the Black Rose, the Bloody Rose was ready to strike fear into the hearts of any who saw the white flag and black spot.
