Civilization and Culture

History

The Roegadyn were innitially from Evalia but were driven from their home by beasts unleashed from the Eidelon Conflict. The Seawolves made landfall on the island outside of Minos coast shortly before Leviathan made the coast of Evalia impossible to reach. Innititally the were pirates and successfull ones. Eventually, a leader of the Seawolves named Anda began to shift them more towards legitimate trade as his city of Andora grew to large to remain a hidden pirate port. Meanwhile, the other Roagadyn had travelled farther soutward, and settled on the north western parts of Sundra, where they found no end of foes and rival tribes to do battle with. These warriors became known as Hellguards, and to this day are prized as mercenary forces.
The two factions clashed rather famously during the Siege of Andova. Many Andova from both factions are keen to reclaim Evalia which they see as their ancestral home.

Common Myths and Legends

They consider themselves to be enemies of Leviathan and all its spawn.
