Gaia

The World of Gaia was created in ancient times, in the vortex of energy created amidst the eternal battle between the primordial forces of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. Amidst all of this chaos, Gaia was created, the essence of life, and carved out a recess in the maelstrom of energy that was dominated by the elemental spirits, and created the world of Gaia as we knew it.

Or that's how the legend goes, in either case. The world of Gaia today is dominated by the Regasian empire, led by The Old Dragon: Emperor Drakos Coaltongue. In less than a century, they've managed to carve out the vast majority of the known world, leaving just a handful of nations in the world to oppose them, and with the Old Dragon at the helm, wielding the torch of the Burning Sky, it would surely only be a question of time, before the Exarchs of Sindaire, the Ostalin Khagan, the kings of Dassan and even the ferocious elves of Shahalesti will bend the knee, or die refusing.

That was, however, not destined to be, and mere months before his 100th birthday the Immortal Emperor disappeared, and alongside him, the immensely powerful artifact that enabled his conquering, disappeared. Nobody truly knows what happened to the emperor, if he was killed, kidnapped, betrayed, or any other oddity that could befall the most powerful man in the world. Fact is that on the fringes of the empire the Regasian armies are moving as a show of force, to show that the empire doesn't become weak, even if their rules their throne remains empty.

This is the world of the burning sky, and this is only the beginning of a war, that will shake the world of Gaia, and perhaps even the worlds beyond!
