Maurader Ysbeth Geldin (a.k.a. Vex)
Hailing from the Continent of Alab-astre Ysbeth is a sub-race of Tiefling, known as an "Oni" to some, or "Demon Ogre" to others, she is a military veteran who served as a Royal Artificer for the Alab-Astre Engineering Corps where her nickname was Vex for her confusing contraptions. Due to her "Oni" origins, she has a 3rd eye located vertically in her forhead. this eye can see the paths of projectiles and hidden secrets. her last known location was on a Alab-Astre military ship last seen scouting near Faerune.

Personal history
born during the Demonic Reneissance of the 1610s in the Continent of Alab-astre Ysbeth was born to a devil father and a TIefling mother who died during the ritual. she was placed into the Fighting pits (as was custom during this time) where from the age of 3, she had to fight daily to survive. this earned her the title "bloodthirster" at the age of 7 and "Bone-Bender" at age 12. at the age of 13 she was drafted into the Alab-Astre Engineering Corps when she was found building a primitive assassins gauntlet that "also drinks the blood of my opponent for fun" according to her explanation of it. by the age of 15 she was helping craft bombs and explosives for the military. at the age of 16 she was arrested for magical drug production out of her dwelling. she was discharged from the military and spent 5 years in the Hole. upon her release (rumor has it she killed half the guards there within 6 months) she tried to re-enlist, but was only given the option of the Alab-Astre scouting party instead. she accepted the offer, and set off to scout the seas in search of any signs of trouble heading for Alab-Astre. within this organization she found her love, a female dragonborn named Meriizak, they traveled for 3 years before the unfortunate accident that caused Ysbeths disappearance.
