Gaea

Inspired by Ancient Greece this world is nearly filled with kingdoms each with their own Greek god that they have allegiance with. Gaea still has many secrets that have been unexplored weather it be because of powerful monsters that defend the territory or that the land is hazardous. The people that try to live in the un-mapped areas are undeveloped, tribal, nomadic and worship titans and primordials. The kingdoms have leaned magic and construction so it lets them be connected weather it be for war or trade because they are all trying to control more in the name of their god.   Magic in the world is all under management by the gods, they all take part in keeping the weave together. Humanoids have leaned arcane magic by many ways like observing and learning from magically adept creatures to the point that great wizards like Volo and Mordenkainen have even created their own spells. Others have become champions for a god and become clerics and paladins though the divine or worship Gaea herself and learn to be druids.   Creatures of all kinds can be found same as the forgotten realms. Beasts will be more common in this land but if you find a way to the other planes or if the other planes find a way to Gaea then more fantastical creatures can be seen on occasion. The outer planes are the same as the forgotten realms but not all inhabit gods for everything but Gaea was created by the remnants from war of the primordial gods.   The main conflict of this land is that it is full of war to be waged, alliances to be made, nations to conquer, or land to explore. The last question is, "Who will be the ones to make a change?"
