Gaea

The world of Gaea (Gee-uh) is one formed of history and mythology, where adventurers and great heroes follow their own paths to glory -- and more often than not, hard won bounties. The villains of Gaea, however, may be as insignificant as a local neighborhood bully, as terrifying as a monstrous kraken on the open seas, or even as all powerful as the titans or gods of mythology who helped shape this great world.
This book is for Game Masters who wish to run fantasy roleplaying game campaigns set on an ancient and mythical version of planet Earth (Gaea), and for the players who will create characters for those games. This book utilizes the game mechanics for "fifth edition rules," but it also includes enough history, mythology, and lore about the world of Gaea to form the foundations for a game using the rules of any fantasy RPG.
While most adventures derived from this book will occur in and around the continents of Haeslios, Krioslos, Eagren, and Zesadar, far-traveling adventurers may happen upon distant lands and even greater adventures. For Game Masters with a penchant for history, the world of Gaea is based on our very own Earth around the year 40,000 B.C.E. which allows for various maps of earth to be utilized and distances to be more accurately measured. This book utilizes fantasy names for real world locations so as to help further immerse players in the world that their characters inhabit.
