Applestead

Applestead is a small farming village that sits nestled in between the golden hills of eastern Karamorn. This hamlet would normally be too small of a settlement to be put on any global maps, but due to its location, it often acts as a crossroads for those wishing to travel to western Karamorn though the mountain chain of Garyx’ Spine, or those who journey between Lostrath to the north, and Callimoria to the east. Applestead is also a sort of hub for those from Bronzestone Village and the surrounding area who wish to trade, and as such, many travel through the little settlement. This has made the sleepy little village well-known, and the locals of Applestead are used to seeing travelers from all walks of life stopping by the popular inn in town; The Apple’s Eye.
Most of Applestead’s residents live on farms in the area around the village itself, and the small town square mainly acts as a location for farmers, hunters and miners to sell and buy produce. In the village itself you can find the herbalist Katla Karnova, the Bits and Bobs general store, the renowned Applestead market, the Pineland Church, and a weapon and armour store run by an old blacksmith named Garret. Other locations of note is the Applefields owned by the minor noble family Briheim, and the New Dogwood Mill which supplies the surrounding area with lumber from the Beanberry Woods.
