Mage Academies

The Mage Academies are the brightest academics and scholars in all of Gabrindel. Mages of all backgrounds seek acceptance into the academies for the vast collection of old lore and artifacts on display. To get into these sacred texts is a privilege. Many of the books pre-date the God War. Anything found in dungeons will almost always be bought at a high price. The academies also research the uses and powers of dangerous artifacts. All artifacts that are confiscated are first inspected by the academies. the mage schools and bard academies churn out the most powerful and resourceful heroes of there time.
