Nat'Yri
Nat’Yri is a religion that originated from the Dyyr and is all about respecting nature and wildlife. Believers of Nat’Yri think that the earth itself is a god called “the mother” and that she created all life and allowed it to live on her very own body. Nat’Yri was created as a result of the Dyyrs ability to sense the thought of plants simply by touching them. This led the Dyyr to believe that all of nature was just a part of one giant being and that it should be preserved at all costs. A majority of believers in Nat’Yri come from the Dyyr, however human wanderers are also common to find amongst those who worship the mother.
Although Nat’Yri teaches to preserve nature, eating meat and using animal products is common. This is because they are seen as parts of life. However, killing animals for anything else than necessity is strictly forbidden and after a hunt, the hunter must preform a ritual to show forgiveness to the animal, and gratitude to its sacrifice.
