Memory Orbs

Memory orbs are palm sized beads made out of grey crystal with a slight glow within. To the general people these orbs are not much more than pretty beads, but to spirits they are the most valuable thing one can acquire. This knowledge has sadly been abused by a lot of people in order to bribe spirits into doing favours for them. Chaos Influence’ for example has been known to hoard the memory orbs to persuade spirits to turn to the path of chaos instead of peace.

Whenever a spirit acquires a memory orb, they take it to the Well of Lost Memories where they must place the orb on an altar in order to regain part of their memories. With every orb placed on the altar, part of the spirits energy transfers to the well, revealing by changing colours what path the spirit is most likely to end up on depending on their most recent actions.
