Hardback

Friendly Creature

Hardbacks are large round creatures with thick grey skin that makes them resemble boulders when looking at them from afar. A hardback moves very slowly, instead relying on its thick skin to keep it safe from potential threats. A hardback's diet mostly consists of insects that they dig out of the ground with the sharp tip of their wide noses. While they will not attack any people, it is best to keep hands away from its mouth as it has a very strong bite which it will use if agitated. A day in the hardbacks life usually consists of digging through the dirt looking for insects and cooling down in water streams that run through the floral plains.
