Crymbol

The Crymbol people are a amphibious race that evolved from a salamander-like species called Diskora. They have existed for around 120 million years on their moon, yet have only recently became sentient as 8000 years ago. They are around 7 to 8 feet tall, adaptable to both surface and water habitats, and are able to change the color of their skin depending on their situation.
They are run a Democratic Technocracy led by the Crymbol Republic. This allows the people to lead the way for their future, while putting an importance of discovering new technologies above all else.

Anatomy

A very humanoid creature with 4 digits on their hands and feet, webbing between them, and a unique crest on their head

Genetics and Reproduction

Crymbolian people reproduce like fish, but the eggs later develop a hard coating around after the 1st day of being fertilized.

Growth Rate & Stages

Every crymbolian reaches maturity at around 30 years, and can live as long as 350 years. They are considered full-fledged adults around the age of 100, and an Elder Crymbol at the age of 250

Ecology and Habitats

Crymbolians thrive near jungle like environments, but do just as well in forest, coral, and grassland-type habitats. However, they tend to fair worse in deserts, cold tundras or areas of cold temperatures, and underwater trenches due to high pressure.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Crymbolians rely heavily on the Omege-3 vitamin that originates in the local aquatic fauna of Furopha.

Biological Cycle

due to being an amphibious species, each crymbolian prefers to be near a water source in order to keep their skin moist. If they get dry with no help, they will molt until their skin is dehydrate to a point where they cant move. However, that doesn't mean they will stay near water sources. Some crymbols have adapted to different weather and temperatures.
