Pulse is one of the powers granted to the Stormphage/Eletrophage: Pylon Genome of Gizo powers.

While most ElectroPhage Gizo-jin can since some brainwaves and heartbeats Visell's mutation due to the StromPhage genome enables her to sense the entirety of the human nervous system. she can sense Heartbeats, Nerve damage, shock, and terror from just looking at people. She uses this to her advantage, opponents that can turn invisible are ineffective against her for instance unless they ate Phatomphages.
Though there are downsides; If she looks at a person for too long she starts to see this monstrous web of buzzing strings. one of the reasons she is not good with eye contact.

Effect

Pulse allows an ElectroPhage to sense electric currents, electromagnetic fields, and the magnetic potential of metals. The StormPhage mutation of Pulse gives the users the ability to manipulate and control magnetic fields and material. This enables the user to twist, contract bend, and move magnetic objects.

Side/Secondary Effects

Pulse Wave: enables the user to sense eclectic currents ranging from high-voltage electrical systems, electromagnetic waves, X-rays and microwaves, and the weak electrical pulses of the human body. This affects some of the typical human senses. For example, Visell can "Feel" X-rays. "They feel like shaving with a bad razor." they also tend to make her sneeze. Microwaves make her skin crawl and her hair stand up. Turning on the Microwave oven like cold ice on the neck. The ones radiating from her cellphone feels like a tingle. Standing near Microwave towers feels like nails on a chalkboard. " Like like I'm being stabbed cold box cutters and shit!" While high voltage electricity feels like a massage, like warming next to a fire, relaxing even. "It feels like my whole body vibrating like I'm in a tack massage chair or something." EMP Grenades can cause her severe pain.
Pulse Sense: While most ElectroPhage Gizo-jin can since some brainwaves and heartbeats, Visell's mutation, due to the StromPhage genome, enables her to sense the entirety of the human nervous system. she can sense Heartbeats, Nerve damage, shock, and terror from just looking at people. She can detect changes in the body and brain due to subtle emotions. She can sometimes tell when someone is lying. She uses this to her advantage, opponents that can turn invisible are ineffective against her for instance unless they ate Phatomphages.

Manifestation

An ElectroPage can use Pulse passively, enabling them to sense currents and fields within 3ft circumference.
When an Eletrophage uses Pulse actively a light hazy purplish-blue light encompasses them and their sense area tripling to 9ft and allows them to manipulate objects up to 6ft.

Gestures & Ritual

Pulse takes a second of concentration to use actively. When focusing on one particular object they usually use their hands to manipulate it. Visell often uses one hand and grips her wrist with the other. Through training, she got used to using to fingers to manipulate small to medium-sized objects.
Visell's mutation of Pulse in addition to training enables her to do "Quick short-range manipulation" and "Muscle backed Magnetism" with little concentration Visell can loosely manipulate objects within that initial 3ft circumference. For instance;
Utilities: she often pushes swords crossed with her down or away with magnetism. With a small bit of concentration, she can stop swords in their arch. She often magnetizes her sword and sheathe and uses them as free-floating shields.
Utilities: She can use magnetism to enhance her already substantial physical strength. Helping her push swords and enemies back.
Utilities: She can use magnetism to break the doors of cars and use them as shields.
Trick cross: With an enemy's blade caught in between them her sword and sheathe she'll magnetize the two in place and land a strong punch on the opponent.
Bye Felisha: Same as Trick Cross except she uses a magnetized punch to push the blade and sheathe forced into the opponent; sending the flying back.

Applied Restriction

Object weight: Most ElectroPhages with the mutation can manipulate objects between 200-300lbs with 50 to 100 pounds of torque. Visell with all her physical strength can only lift up to 100 pounds but can exert 50 to 100 pounds of torque.
Concentration: It takes some time to concentrate on the objects one wants to manipulate. A depending on the size and weight of the object it can take extra time to manipulate it. Visell how ever as a record fast manipulation time.
