Living for the love of you! Visell consoles Dedestra. Prequel to Dedestra Runs away.

After a tragic homicide involving her Mother and older brother she runs away distraught and terrified She hides from Visell and runs away to The Durgo-Sachmo SkyMall (one of the tallest public buildings on Mars at that point.) Visel with the help of Tollen's All-sight power finds Dedestra at the top of the tower sitting near the railings. Visell rushes off and arrives at the mall taking the elevator to the top, tears in her eyes punching the elevator wall to make it go faster. Visell pushes past patrons and by standards and crashes through the door of the open-air café . . .   "ZEMPAI!" Visell frantically scans the rooftop and sees that wavy mound of hair swaggering solemnly against the blaring sunset. She runs down the stairs! Her sneakers scream as she stops her self beside Dedestra. Dedestra looks over it Visell solemnly, with her usual icy stare. "Greetings . . ." she says casually. Visell pants and glares at her. "What has you so miffed?" Visell raises an eyebrow "What the hell are you thinking, whatever it is don't!" "Don't enjoy my tea and sunset view? I refuse." Visell collapses holding herself up on her knees, "What the hell!?" " You may join me if you like,"   Dedestra says as she takes a sip of her lukewarm tea. "Visell sighs and sits in the adjacent seat. They sit in silence staring at the sunset, bystanders and patrons leave one by one, two by two. Visell crosses her arms and legs looking out impatiently and then starts to relax. Moments later they look over the sunbathed city in solitude. Visell looks over to Dedestra, quietly sipping her tea, her legs pressed together knee to knee so proper! she looks down at the plate of half-eaten snack, as she reaches over to grab one. "You need to let me go." Her hand stops and shivers as that silky voice calls to her. " Symown, I'm tired, There's no point in continuing . . . this pain . . . miserable full existence and you're only making it more difficult for me. So please, leave and I promise you'll be much happier and well-loved by som-" "SHUT UP!" Dedestra teas spill a little, she regains her composure.   "What the hell is wrong with you!? Stop! Stop shitting on yourself all the freaking time!" "Symown, Please . . ." "No, I refuse! Zempai . . . Dedestra, I know what you're going through, trust me!!!" Visell hand clutches over her chest "I know you that feeling like there's a cold, dark pit in your chest! But I'm telling you dying doesn't fix that! Living Does!" Dedestra clenches her fist on her lap "That's quite easy for you to say Symown. Not all of us have powers, prestige, security, money!" SLAM! Visell's palm cracks the marble beside her. "That's a glib point! You're freaking reaching and y know it!!! You know damn well I don't care about that's stuff and I'm willing to throw everything away for my goals if I gotta! No two freaking ways about it! Now stop making this about me!" "Then why am I so special, Symown? I'm but a burden . . ." "Shut it!" "You're a fool to constantly guard me." "SHUT! IT!" "The rot of this world only seeks to consume me and I'm tired, I'm . . .weak; Your father would've wanted you to-" "SHUT IT!!!" Visel screams! A purplish glow pulses from her being, the metal chairs around them shift and bend! Visel starts to tear up. "Stop It! Just stop it!" Dedestra's shaky hands put the cup down on the plate beside her.   "There it is, now you finally understand, you finally see me like garbage, it's better if you hate, I despise myself as well, now you can let me go, right?"   "Who the hell do you think I am!?" Dedestra stops in her tracks and looks with slight confusion. Visell repeats "Shit, I thought you knew me!? The daughter of the greatest swordsman on earth and mars don't give up that easily, Dahali! Especially from some mean words! Especially when you're pulling your punches! Every time you diss yourself I'm going to keep standing here looking at you're freaking crazy.   Ya know why you don't deserve my hatred? I'm. Still. Here! If you were really that shitty; I wouldn't blush when I see you, I wouldn't be so comfortable crying with you, I wouldn't feel so warm by your side or be cool with eating crappy Mochi with you or help pick your dandruffy hair out or let you clean bugs and crap out of mine or help you run those dumbass, stupid, odd job errands for your asshole neighbors!!!   All the little bullshit, crying, promises, laughs, and pain is all to see you happy, Zempai. That's how I move forward, Dedestra! I freaking live out of love and spite! The world came crashing down on Father and crushed him! I saw it in his eyes! And . . . I can't . . . I can't just sit back and watch you get crushed! If you just quit life then those demons, those bastards, the people that spit on you all win! And all the people that love you lose! How are you supposed to rest easy with that!? That's no way to die!   Dedestra cradles herself in her arms and looks away from Visel, shaking and shivering in frustration. "Symown . . . I just . . ." Visel jets up from her seat and swiftly takes her coat off. A warm, loose feeling encompasses Dedestra. She looks up at Visell in awe. "You're not thinking straight(!)" tears streaming down her face." Visell warm pals caress Dedestra's cheeks. She throws her arms around her, pressing her head into her chest in a hearty embrace. Dedestra shivers struggling to move her arms; a well of warm tears melts through Dedestra's icy glare as she nestles into Visel's silky hair. Visel sniffles and weeps. "Geez, Why the hell would you think I'd just let you go!? After everything!? Stop It! Stop Being Dumb! You're supposed to be the Straight A'er here! What were you thinking!?" Dedestra's voice shivers. "I'm sorry, Symown! It just agony! I feel . . . like(!)"   Visell hugs tighter "It's okay! It's okay! Don't worry about it okay! I'm here for you." Visell retracts and clasps her hands around Dedestra's face, and stares into her eyes. "Would you live for me? Know I love you more and more every day? Would you live for that?" Dedestra's heart pulsates her mind scrabble, as her eyes wander Visell's earnest, teary scowl. "Symown . . . I know we . . . Just . . . I don't." Visell presses her forehead to Dedestra's "Zempai, Please! Promise me! I can't lose you! Please, Just promise me, you'll hold on to my heart and just live!" Dedestra feels a deep icy pit in her chest, a feeling like cement in her lungs as she pants and blushes. "Symown . . . I . . .promise . . ." Visell sigh roughly with relief. "Thank you . . ."   Their eyes skirmish and scour each other's faces, both panting and enraptured in their company. Visell blushes deeply as her eyes trail off to the side as Dedestra's hands trail up through Visells hair and around her neck pulling her closer, Visell eyes shut tightly as that coveted warm, soft, sensation cascaded over her lips. Little moans escape her, as she focuses on the motions of her more experienced companion, trying to match her movements. Dedestra's peers at Visell's as they intertwine; Her could icy glare scans her nervous face, drift to the side for a second then return closed. They retreat from each other and they stare at each other once again. "Thank you, Symown . . . for coming to my rescue yet again."   "Don't thank me, I'm just hoping you're okay! I'll always be there for you like a promised!" Dedestra holds Visell's hands "I know you will. Your compassion and valor are always well appreciated, welcomed, and vital more often than not." Visell scoff "Geez, you're such a cute nerd!" Visell wipes a tear out of her eye. She kneels to rest her head on Dedestra's lap. "And you'd make a better dog than an intimate companion." Visell snickers "Good one; drag me and prove my point!" Dedestra plays with Visell's hair for a second, watching her slowly drift off to sleep.   Dedestra glares out into the setting sun. A deep cold, painful, irking shadow stains her mind; bloating out the sun's ever cleansing rays. Seeing the looking out to the city and feeling As Visel drifts asleep in her lap. her cute little visage covered by her hair thatch, all knackered and worried, so expended and . . . passionate.   "Symown, My love; I'll live for you but I can't endure seeing you love me, In a land that wants be dead; when I even desire to end myself.
