The Feral Andeamer

The Feral Andeamer are the result of thousands of years of radiation destroying an Andeamer's sense of self and connection to Mazarath. These Andeamer denounce Mazarath and the Gods and all of civilized society in Enokh. They are very dangerous and usually do not leave the irradiated zones of Zeoendyl Maar, but when they do they only seek to destroy.

Feral Andeamer live among the ruins of ancient cities destroyed in the Great War. They are dramatically short lived people who commonly die of cancer. Feral Andeamer live in large tribes and are rarely seen among civilized Andeamer and never venture far from their tribes or ruins. While alone or in small groups they won't attack caravans or travelers unprovoked.

While traveling through the Gehrtokh Canyon, Feral Andeamer can be seen on the hills above. Do not fear, this particular tribe is not known to attack. However for precaution, there are several checkpoints along the canyon route. Feral Andeamer aren't to be confused with the civilized natives of the province. While they are similar color, Feral Andeamer can be identified by various traits:

  • Severe patching of suede-skin

  • Blistering of skin and or burned appearance

  • Missing, damaged, or stumps of horns; this is done on purpose

  • Lack of hair; hair might also appear patchy

  • Lack of noticeable ears; the ears of Feral Andeamer are noticeably stunted and often gory

  • Lack of limbs

  • Unnatural appearance

  • Unusual growths

  • nability to communicate properly

Some of these traits are also a symptom of radiation poison. The most immediate is nausea and fatigue, later the loss of hair and suede-skin. Should one feel ill at all DO NOT hesitate to seek treatment; radiation poisoning should NOT be ignored. Radiation poisoning is more common to visiting Andeamer than to those accustomed to Zeoendyl Maar’s environment.

Found on a sign post in Zyendyl Maar, this sign also marks where travelers enter the most dangerous area of the province. It's layers of paint over aged and greyed wood really show just how long this sign has been here.
