Bay Post is a regional newspaper published in the Greater Fortune region. It reaches an estimated 4 million unique readers monthly, and is the second largest news corporation based in Fortune City after The View. The Bay Post has been coming out daily since the year 2020, reporting mostly on regional news and events, but also covering culture, media, entertainment and political/social topics not specific to Fortune City. Previous CEO Jimmy Prophet described the scope of the paper as "...anything relevant, interesting or important to the citizens [of Fortune], not to the city itself". The newspaper has been praised for its investigative journalism, often daring to take a critical angle on corporations much larger than itself. This has meant both praise, criticism and a great deal of risk throughout its lifetime. In 2038, the newspaper printed its very last paper copy and became entirely digital. The last physical Bay Post copy, from the 15th of September 2038, was sold at an auction the next year for 10,000 CR.
