Pikehear

Pikehear is also called the city of stones. It is situated to the west of the continent on the shore.
Surrounded by sheer stone cliffs and a stony plain this city quickly made its riches by turning the stony wastes into large quarries. All kinds of stone can are being wrenched from the earth transported to the city for further refinement and then either shipped or transported overland to their destiantion.
Walking through artificial ravines created by centuries of quarrying the first sight of Pikehear are its impressive marble walls. Reaching 15meters and their peak and ornately carved from the finest marble and inlaid with old arcane runes these walls have never been breached in their history.
Passing the stonecarved gates the city looks like one continuous quarry. A series of pulley systems and chutes transport stones from the surrounding quarries almost fully autmated into the city. There the stones are received at central collection point where the owners of the quarries sell the raw stone to everyone who has interest. (Stonemarkets).
The city itself is built out of the very stone that is being quarried around it. The houses are all made from stone and the abundance of stone masons leads to well built beautiful houses.

Demographics

The city consits primarily of workers and and stone masons. A few of the business savy ones managed to rise to prominence and wealth within the city.

Due to its location on the west coast of formarion it is a trade hub aswell and a lot of ships carrying stones and other goods dock and leave each day making the harbour district the second most important district of the city.

To the north of the city the wealthy and powerful carved out their own district, they greened the normally barren plain and made use of the countless talented stone masons to create some of the most beautiful houses throughout the empire.

Government

The city is part of the Pragon Empire so it is lead by a Dwendal ho is the head of the city and sees to the general wellbeing of the city.

Below the Dwendal several councils are tasked with the day to day business of the city. Depending on the economic and social situation the councils size differs. In Pikehear the Sone Masons council is the biggest one and it wields the most power almost rivalling that of the Dwendal.

Defences

The city is surrounded by a tall stone wall almost 10 meters thick. The Masons District is separated once more by a wall that contains all the valuable resources and art pieces being stored here.

The harbour is secured by the so called Jagged line where uncounted tons of stones have been sunken into the bay creating only narrow pathways for ships.

Infrastructure

The city is well connected through large stone roads that lead over the barren stone plains surrounding it. The big roads continue inside the city separating it into five districts.

The other big infrastructural point is the harbour where alot of the stone trade happens and ships sail into all directions.
