Session 2
General Summary
Tracking Kobolds
The PCs last left off at the entrance to the Kobold tunnel that Vorax Flameclaw disappeared into. The tunnels are vast and confusing. The PCs will need to navigate these tunnels to follow and/or track the kobolds. This is a skills test that will determine how the confrontation unfolds. There will be periodic random encounter rolls. There will be 6 of these in total. For each, everyone rolls 1d6. If there is a 1, the trail is lost and must be found again. If there is a 6, there is a reward and continuing is easy.

Confrontation
As the tiefling siblings cautiously make their way through the winding tunnels of the kobold lair, they finally arrive at the slightly larger chamber where the Shadowfang Covenant trio is meeting. The room is dimly lit by flickering torches mounted on the walls, casting dancing shadows across the rough-hewn stone floor. In the center of the chamber, Vorax Flameclaw and Grizzlek Scaledancer stand facing each other, their voices low and intense as they discuss their plans for retribution against those who dared to disrupt their supply deliveries. Vorax, his muscular form towering over Grizzlek, gestures emphatically as he outlines the potential strategies for retaliatory strikes, while Grizzlek nods in agreement, his cunning eyes gleaming with anticipation. At the edge of the chamber, concealed within the shadows, Shara Swifttail crouches silently, her keen eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of intruders. Her tail twitches with nervous energy as she listens intently to the conversation, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.
The tiefling siblings, observing from the entrance of the chamber, must decide how to proceed. They have caught the Shadowfang Covenant trio at a crucial moment, and their presence has not gone unnoticed. Whether the kobolds are ready for the party's arrival or caught off guard depends on the tieflings' skill in navigating the tunnels and their ability to remain undetected. The stage is set for a confrontation that will determine the fate of Julkoun and the tiefling siblings' quest for answers about their parents' disappearance.

Dialogue
Grizzlek: "Vorax, our supplies have been disrupted once again. Those meddling outsiders dare to challenge our authority in Julkoun!"Vorax: "Bah! Foolish mortals think they can defy the might of the Shadowfang Covenant? They will soon learn the price of their defiance."
Grizzlek: "Indeed, Vorax. But we must act swiftly and decisively. We cannot allow these interlopers to undermine our hold on Julkoun."
Vorax: "Agreed. We must strike back with all our strength. Let us rally our forces and unleash the fury of the kobold horde upon them!"
Grizzlek: "And what of the tieflings? They pose a threat to our plans as well. We must ensure they do not interfere further."
Vorax: "Leave the tieflings to me. I will deal with them personally. They will regret ever crossing paths with the Shadowfang Covenant."
Grizzlek: "Very well, Vorax. But remember, our ultimate goal remains unchanged. We serve the dragon, and we will stop at nothing to fulfill its desires."
Vorax: "Of course, Grizzlek. The dragon's will shall be done. Let us make haste, for our enemies shall soon feel the wrath of the Shadowfang Covenant!"
After the fight, the party can find stuff on the table. There is some treasure, some spell scrolls, and some ground up leaves.
Return To Town
NPCs recommend going to see herbalist, Sylria Moonshadow, about the leaves. They are a severe sedative, powerful enough to keep an enormous creature dormant for days if administered correctly.Sylria has a peculiar candle on her windowsill. It lights up when a Kobold is near and the flame will flicker the direction of the kobold. She is willing to part with this candle if the players vow to stop the kobold incursion.
