King Maekar Blickyce

Old and weakened King of the Ten Towns. He wants to keep the Towns in check and in balance, but he is about to die. He trusts almost no one at this point, not even his children. In his economic crisis he is forced to raise the taxes and is thus unpopular with a large portion of the common folk, even though he stepped back from the immediate governance of the kingdom. He only trust his closest advisor and cousin Bloodraven.
