The Tongue & Cheek

The Tongue & Cheek is, most recently, one of the largest and most famous brothels in the city of Waterdeep. In 1492DR, the failing brothel was bought out by Taeral Silvertongue and renamed The Tongue & Cheek. In less then a year she managed to turn the operation around from a dilapidated mansion house to a high-class establishment. The Tongue & Cheek's reputation for catering to each and every client's needs and requests has help to establish its popularity in Waterdeep and beyond.

Architecture

When originally build this structure had a very utilitarian design, will no lavish or outstanding features. The wall were mostly covered in various maps and surveys over very works the guild had participated in. Under the ownership of Sevilious, the building of spruced up with silks and linens and new painted artwork on the wall. Currently the building has changed again to a more of a combination of roman architecture and Arabian decoration, tall columns, flowing fabrics long the falls.

History

Once the opulent headquarters for the Guild of Cartographers and Surveyors, for reasons never reveals the guild found themselves lacking the funds to maintain the headquarters and ended up selling it to, Sevilious Dargon, in 1485DR and the building was renamed, The Flowery Lass, which saw moderate success only to fall into disrepair and failure due to Sevilious's greed and mismanagement.
