Master Bard Tanner Diago

Tanner was born to Eliad and Lyla Diago two years after his brother Khrystian, but he has no memory of either of them as his father had died two years later, and his brother presumed dead at the age of five when Tanner was 3. He also does not remember his step father Vinithas who left his mother and he destitute when he ran off with with a mistress. It was just he and his mother for the majority of his life. Thankfully he does not remember those first few years as Lyla struggled to make her way back down the sword coast and to the eat to return her hometown of Derlusk where her parents had left her a small broken down home.
His years growing up Derlusk were happy, even though they were poor his mother provided for them by cleaning the homes of nobles, or organizing books in one of the many collector shops located in the city. She also managed to secure him a decent education by trading her house cleaning for Tanner to be allowed to attend school lessons with some of the more wealthy children. Tanner loved learning and while he did not exactly excel greatly in area other than music, he found himself enthralled with reading and learning rather interesting and sometimes downright odd facts.
When he was twelve years old he was already quite skilled with play his lute and with singing, and one day while entertaining on one of the many streets in the city which was always packed with traders, scholars, and even other musicians, he was noticed by a Halfling man by the name of Greggin Bigtoes. Greggin saw the raw talent of the young performing human, and decided to offer him an apprenticeship with him. Greggin offered Tanner an apprenticeship with him and to train him properly as a Bard, training which he would master by the age of 16.
After his mother passed away, Tanner hit a bad spot in his life until he was contacted by his brother Khrystian. With the promise of a new home and no ties really left in Derlusk, he left his house to his former Teacher Greggin, and set off to Waterdeep to live with his brother and have a family once again. Unfortunately for him fate had other things in mind, as the very night he arrived in Waterdeep his brother had died before even getting to meet him. Now he is in this strange city, with a bunch of really weird people, and his real adventure is just beginning.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

He is lean yet muscular, it could be equated to a 'swimmers' build. He has six-pack abs and well defined arm, leg, chest and back muscles.

Facial Features

He is extremely good looking with an almost innocence to his face. He could be mistaken to be younger than he is, especially if he ever shaved the scruffy growth he maintains on his chin. He keeps his hair arranged at a medium length most neatly with only a few unruly cowlicks seeming to give him trouble. His smile and grin is known to break and win over hearts, and when he does so, he looks almost like his deceased brother to those who knew him.

Identifying Characteristics

He has an odd tattoo of the holy symbol of Lathander the Morning Lord on his right hand.

He has very good posture and walks with purpose, however they are times he will walk almost looking at his feet to not be embarrassed by things that may be happening around him.

Special abilities

He has mastered many Bardic Magic and has aspirations of learning spells from Wizards as well. Additionally he is proficient in the Crossbow and Longsword.

Apparel & Accessories

He dresses rather plainly with an elbow length shit and a leather vest over top of it. Simple trousers and boot, belt at his waist, and he never goes anywhere without his Lute or Lyre.

He wears simple leather armor in the form of a vest over his chest. He owns a Cloak of Billowing, a Moon-Touched Longsword, an eyepatch that gives him Darkvision, and a Crossbow.

• Both received and gave a personal performance for Storm Silverhand.

• Helped save the 10 girls from dying to a fireball during the docks attack.
