Percy's Log - Day 43

When our rest had concluded the daughters insisted that we be on our way, our line of thinking was very similar so this wasn’t an issue. Before leaving however I offered up Lysaga one of the stone animal figurines I had found in Nangalore as a gift for her hospitality. The animal was that of a badger which was most fitting given her little animal companion. In return she gave to me a magical old bone that when used would make a dangerous foe disappear, very handy if I’m accosted by something beyond my abilities. The gift was quite a fine one, and one from someone who has already provided us with such a great amount of kindness. After giving my thanks we took our leave, one of her daughters escorted us a great distance away from the hut before she departed from our side, most assuredly this was to make a point for us not to return.   After parting we continued on our voyage through the jungles, Arden chose to be the one to assist Zamisi in guiding us through future jungle travels while I was tasked with hunting down the food we’d consume on the trip. Reasonable enough, my time with Azaka made hunting for food a lot more natural and with Tavaquik gone we would need all the food we could get. Whilst our traveling continued I was able to find a nice haul of various types of vegetation that was eatable; afterwards we camped for the night with no interruptions.
