Kelpie

Kelpies are powerful water spirits capable of shapeshifting, though they usually present themselves as watery horses. They have tremendous physical and magical energy, shrouded by their Equine forms.
Kelpies make great pack animals and mounts if you can get one to calm down and listen to you. Only the best beastmasters in the realms have been able to ride kelpies and breed them.
Kelpies are renowned killers. Too often the story goes that one attempts to befriend a kelpie to found themselves drowned in a pond. It is usually best to keep one's distance when a kelpie is spotted at body of water.

Tip

Kelpies are high level wild creatures and are very difficult to domesticate. Prepare for a fight if your taming goes wrong.
