The idea of creating large cities using the fertile land around them became popular, causing many of the local tribes to construct their own forms of towns and early renditions of castles.

After the Asketill family lead the way with Stalheila, many other tribes heard tales of their new constructive efforts. They sought to compete with Stalheila and so the city-states of Eyaflot, Holmhelle and Mosheim were founded. While this advancement in society caused a population boom, it also led to many battles being fought in the region with tensions increasing between neighboring city-states.
