The Viborgian Wars

A war breaks out between Stalheila and Eyaflot, better known as the Viborgians at the time (the family that ruled over the city-state).

Leading up to the war, many skirmishes were fought between the growing city-states of the region. Stalheila and Holmshelle had long been enemies due to the borders they shared. However, the competition to control Jokulsarlon Bay reached a boiling point when Holmshelle was captured by the Asketill family. The Viborgians knew they had to strike out against the Asketill family in order to contain the threat that would be pressing down on them soon enough.   The war went from 47 SA to 50 SA, a relatively short war during the era due to unfortunate events. The Viborgian family all contracted a fatal disease at the time known as scarring-pox, something that most of the city-states in the region had been struggling to combat. After they died, the city-state fell into political chaos that the Asketill family swiftly cleaned up, claiming the city in their own name.
