New Riyadh

New Riyadh is one of the few surviving cities which did not transfer to a ship city, evacuate to space or retreat to an island mountain. Instead, the Saudi Government, in the final 5 years before the meteor, used their resources to build massive curved walls around their capital, to shield it against the tsunamis and rising sealevels. Due to Riyadh's location in the middle of the desert, it was assumed that the city would be safe from the majority of the calamity, leading to the bowl barrier being hastily planned and constructed so close to year 0 AFE.

While safe for now, It remains to be seen how long the bowl will hold up against the ocean that now surrounds the Country of New Riyadh.
