Day 1

I have ventured out of the Othrond (the underworld) for the first time in my life. I'm taking a job to escort a noble and his indentured servants of some sort to the Gothic Kingdom. I hope to gain life experience to expand my abilities of persuasion and broaden my understanding of the motivations and desires of the world.

I arrived at the designated port in the late afternoon. It is so bright above ground. After checking in with the adventurer's guild reception I immediately settled down for the evening at the tavern area. There is no better place to observe people with their guard down. I just had a single beer. I have to keep my wits about me. The place is all but deserted. I expect any adventurers I encounter will be my companions for this job.

They appear to be a motley bunch. A weird silvery being with a goblin man servant, a strange oddly proportioned "human", and a dragonborn (copper?) magic user of some kind that seems pretentious. They seem confident so this should be an experience.

Time for rest. Tomorrow the adventure shall begin.
