Time Mage Prestige Class

Prestige Class: Time Mage The Time Mage is a spellcaster who specializes in manipulating time and altering the flow of events. They possess the ability to hasten allies, slow enemies, and even manipulate the fabric of time itself.   Time Mage Features:   Requirements: To qualify for the Time Mage prestige class, a character must meet the following prerequisites:
  • Proficiency in the Arcana skill.
  • The ability to cast spells.
  • The character must have demonstrated a deep understanding of time manipulation and shown proficiency in altering the flow of events.
Time Mage Spellcasting: At each level, you gain new spells known and spell slots as if you had gained a level in the Wizard class. Your spellcasting ability for these spells is Intelligence. You use your combined Time Mage levels and levels in the Wizard class to determine your overall spellcasting progression.   Spellcasting Focus: You can use an arcane focus, such as a pocket watch or an hourglass, as a spellcasting focus for your Time Mage spells.   Temporal Manipulation: At 3rd level, you gain the ability to manipulate time to your advantage. When you roll initiative, you can choose to roll a d4 and add it to your initiative roll.   Bonus Spells: At certain levels, you learn additional spells that are always prepared and don't count against the number of spells you can prepare. These bonus spells reflect the Time Mage's mastery over time manipulation. The spells and the levels at which you gain them are as follows:   3rd level: Feather Fall, Expeditious Retreat 7th level: Haste, Slow 11th level: Polymorph, Dimension Door 15th level: Hold Monster, Teleportation Circle 19th level: Time Stop, Plane Shift   Temporal Defense: At 7th level, your control over time enhances your defenses. As a reaction when you are hit by an attack, you can use your Time Mage spell slots to roll a d6 plus spell slot level and subtract the result from the attacker's attack roll, potentially causing the attack to miss.   Temporal Manipulator: At 10th level, your mastery of time allows you to manipulate the fabric of reality. You gain the following benefits:
  • You have advantage on spell attack rolls and saving throws against the spells of creatures affected by your Slow spell.
  • When you cast a spell that imposes a status condition on a creature, the target has disadvantage on its saving throw against the spell.
  • When casting single target spells that affect time, you can instead twin spell the effect and hold concentration for both. (ie. Haste, Slow, Expeditious Retreat etc.)
Temporal Alteration: At 15th level, your mastery over time allows you to alter events to your advantage. As an reaction, you can choose a creature (including yourself) to reroll an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, by rewinding time, taking the new result. You must choose to use this feature before the outcome of the roll is determined. You can use this feature a number of times equal your int modifier + proficiency bonus (minimum of once).   Temporal Mastery: At 18th level, your control over time reaches its zenith. Once per long rest, as an action, you can cast the spell Time Stop without expending a spell slot. The duration of the Time Stop is 1 minute.
