Additionally, you gain proficiency in the Medicine skill if you don't already have it.
Channel Divinity: Radiant Smite: Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to infuse your weapon strikes with radiant energy. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can expend a use of Channel Divinity to deal additional radiant damage equal to 2d8 + your cleric or paladin level. The target must make a Constitution saving throw, taking half damage on a success.
Martial Training: At 3rd level, your martial training improves. You gain proficiency with all martial weapons and heavy armor.
Ability Score Improvement: At 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.
Extra Attack: Starting at 5th level, you can attack twice when you take the Attack action on your turn.
Divine Surge: At 6th level, your divine magic enhances your combat abilities. When you use your Channel Divinity, you can add your Wisdom modifier to the damage dealt.
Radiant Defense: At 9th level, your connection to divine radiance grants you enhanced defense. While wearing heavy armor, you gain a bonus to your AC equal to your Wisdom modifier.
Aura of Restoration: Starting at 14th level, you emanate an aura of radiant restoration. Whenever you or an ally within 10 feet of you regains hit points from a spell, you can choose to restore additional hit points equal to your Ascendant level.
Purifying Strike: At 17th level, your weapon strikes become infused with the purifying light of Aaria. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can choose to deal an extra 2d8 radiant damage.
