Rebel, who prefers to go by Reb, arrived in the Feywild about what he thinks was 4 years ago.
He worked with Larixi on developing a stronger fiber for her crafting. During that time, they became quite close. He calls her Rixi. She accepts it indulgently, but he is the only one that Larixi allows to call her that.
The results of their endeavors are a fiber they call Razor Fiber. They craft it using fiber from Razorgrass plants. The largest source of this fiber is the Razorgrass Plains.
During a trip to gather additional fibers, Larixi and he were ambushed by several Slaad.

Though he does not remember, the attack was 2 Red and 1 Green Slaad. They never stood a chance in open combat against so many of them.

During this battle, his Amulet of the Planes was cracked. It will continue to cause him problems for some time.
While he is not actively engaged in a pact of any sort with Entaliss, his work with Larixi has put him on good terms with her. At his entry into the story, he has been summoned by Entaliss with a note stating that that she has a big job for him.

Becoming a Drunken Master
