Vesuvi Dragonkin

The Vesuvi Dragonkin are a proud and noble race of creatures, born with the ability to shapeshift into dragon form. However, over time, the Vesuvi have lost this ability, and are no longer able to assume their dragon form. The loss of their shapeshifting ability has had a profound impact on the Vesuvi, who once relied on their dragon form to defend their home and their people. Without the ability to become dragons, the Vesuvi have been forced to rely on other methods to protect themselves and their way of life.
In their natural state, they are draconic in appearance, with scales, wings, and sharp teeth and claws. Despite their impressive abilities, the Vesuvi are often viewed with fear and suspicion by other races. Many believe that the Dragonkin are dangerous and unpredictable, and are wary of their power. As a result, the Vesuvi have learned to keep their true nature hidden, and are able to assume human form at will.
In human form, the Vesuvi are able to blend in with other races, allowing them to live among them without drawing unwanted attention. They are able to maintain their human appearance for extended periods of time, but eventually must return to their natural form to rest and recharge.
Despite the challenges they face, the Vesuvi remain a proud people, sworn to protect their way of life, the bond with the world and the dragons they have pledged to defend.
The Vesuvi remain a resilient and determined people and they continue to live in the Drakescale Mountains, where they have formed close bonds with the dragons who also call the mountains home.
While they may no longer be able to shapeshift into dragons, the Vesuvi continue to honor the bond they have with the majestic beasts, and are always ready to defend their home and their people from any threats that may arise.
