Whisper Isles

Geography

Deep within the southern Veric Ocean, this archipelago of tropical landscapes is unique and dangerous in its inhabitants. Whether you look on its hills, in its trees, or beneath the waters of its lagoons, you are sure to find denizens that aren't found in the Firmwold's "normal" demographics!

Fauna & Flora

While conifers and flowering plants exist in the Whisper Isles, they are relative newcomers, and must compete with the dominant spore plant varieties (i.e. mosses and ferns).
While small mammals can be found here, avian and reptilian life dominate the animal kingdom. In particular, dinosaurs are found here as the "ruling caste" of animals, the biggest herbivores and the alpha predators and everything on down.
Sapient life does not seem to be native to the Whisper Isles, unless you go off their shores and search beneath the gentle waves.
