Western Tableau

The west edge side of Grasmere Island rises in a steady incline from the western shores for about 90 miles eastward. The angle cuts sharply upward for an additional 30 miles at a nearly 2% grade to an elevation of nearly 3,000 feet at its highest point before dropping sharply down into the basin that becomes the Laceflame Tropics rainforest.   These cliffs do not have an official designation but are colloquially known as the "Laceflame Drop," "The Cliffs of Grasmere," or "Deadfalls."
