Songshields' Lament

An ancient order tasked with protecting the Tchaoik language and it's legacy, has lost one of their oldest reference manuals. It is a tome they claim dates back to c-5,000 at least, the glyphs stamped into horngruff hide with sculpted forgeiron. The Songshields have two theories: it could be a progressive politician/cult of personality who wants to leave traditions behind or it could be a local salvager who likes to fancy herself an Indiana Jones type swashbuckler and has bought into a local legend that the tome contains a secret map to an ancient treasure.
