Disappearing

In the criminal underworld, the biggest threat an organization can make against someone is to "disappear" them. The theory goes, if a person disappears and no trace of their body is ever found, there can be no proof that anyone died and therefore the Song of Harmony remains intact. Or, more to the point, no one is punished as if a murder had occurred because there is no proof of one.
Rumors abound that the Tower Kingdom has developed magic which can detect when someone has been disappeared as well, though since no one seems to have any first-hand evidence of its existence, it is treated with heavy skepticism.
