Fengaia

Fengaia is set primarily in the eponymous continent, which is divided into four regions, commonly known in-universe as Seasons. The reason for this is that each Season is, well - a season! Autumn, winter, summer and spring are all represented in Fengaia. In fact, the fourfold Seasons in symbiosis is what holds the very planet together! Each Season typically has two dominant cultures, which are colorful and unique because they are a blend of real world cultures, with a dash of contemplation on how that race would realistically respond to everything. (E.g., cat people inspired by Egyptians would follow Egyptian patterns, but they are nocturnal, so worship the night instead of the sun.)   Fengaia was inspired by The Elder Scrolls series; my favorite example of worldbuilding, ever. As a consequence, a lot of the worldbuilding is done via the point of view of someone or something in the world, much like TES. It has strong themes of secrets and esoteric lore, which is somewhat strange because there is no crowd of people that would interpret (or misinterpret) the vague things I write. I just do it for my own personal amusement.   I have a habit of daydreaming, meaning I am constantly transported to this world in particular to flesh it out just in my everyday life. I don't think there will be as much lore on this website as it actually exists in my brain. This is essentially me writing down the ideas that come to me when I have the patience to write them. I have been thinking of making this an open-world RPG, or perhaps a campaign on a game like Dungeons and Dragons.   There is much more than just Fengaia in this world, and that is for you to find out and me to write down!
