Having dreamt of being a part of the fabled Queen's Guard ever since he was a child, Nathan is currently a student of sword fencing at the University of Rosemoor.
Being a commoner is proving to be a disadvantage as a student at the University, but perhaps his luck will change.

Personal history
Brought up by a single mother in the city of Corthanel, the capital of Bardocen, Nathan quickly learned that in order to get what you want, you have to work both hard and smart. Taking care of his two younger siblings from a young age taught him responsibility and leadership.
The father left the family shortly before Nathan's youngest brother, Holden, was born and they were on their own from that moment on. Nobody has seen him ever since and nobody knows what happened to him. Nathan feels a strong hatred towards his father for leaving his mother to her own devices the way he did.
