Barb Grool, who dons an odd name for a human, was a monk famous for his attack on the Grandel Mines with his partner Wrath. They snuck into the mines and blew it up using Alliance explosive devices, reducing the mine to rubble and fire, taking out a purple worm with it.
After the attack, Barb was gifted Grandmane Keep and was hired by the Alliance as an operative.
