Farus

For years, the frontier between the mighty Zarion Empire and the upstart nations of the Guild has burned. What started as a war of independence has reduced cities and their people to rubble and cinders.   Many refugees from the badlands flee into the Dearth, a barren wasteland of windswept plains, desert sands and jagged mountains as far as any Mapmaker has ever cared to go.   The denizens of this world suffer as the war rages on, from the native people of the "New World" to the decaying empires of the old one. Dragons emerge from their last holdouts with hordes bent on conquering. The Dreaming has been rediscovered and new threats encroach upon our reality. Infernal messengers have contacted many rulers and commoners, enlisting help in the mortal realm, and the Trine remain silent, or else unreachable. The world is changing fast.   Welcome to Farus.
