Many citizens of Farath view forms of magic as unnecessary or unneeded and think of those who use the arcane to their advantage as weak. Because of this common idealogy, many choose to take up the sword and explore the great expanse of the sea. Magic is still permitted, but the users find it hard to fit in and even learn more about their inner workings of themselves. Furthermore, magic items are extremely hard to find.
