The Wanderer's Tavern

Purpose / Function

An open-all-hours tavern on the edge of town, ready with refreshment and lodging for travellers (and the occasional townsperson with a need to be discreet).

Architecture

A large square-bottomed brick building, with two floors. The top floors and devoted to nightly lodgings, whilst the ground floor includes the bar, seating and a couple of small rooms for the owners and employees.

History

Established under the reign of King Restor Aressius II in 145 AE by Ericor and Phillis Deres, it was originally far more drinking and gambling based, with little room for lodging. Significant damage caused by a fire in 204 AE, leading to the complete renovation, finishing work in early 205.
